Swarnalatha who is great singer of South India is reported to be death!



Famous South Indian filmplayback singer Swarnalatha passed away at the age of 37 only.

Swarnalatha Death Reason :

Swarnalatha Died of lung related diseas.
Swarnalatha, who was ailing from lung related disease died at a private hospital in Chennai today. Swarnalatha's death shocked everyone.

Swarnalatha was from Palakkad, Kerala. Swarnalatha started working from 1989 and has worked with many Directors. Swarnalatha sang songs in many languages including Tamil, Kannada, Telugu, Hindi, Malayalam, Urdu, Badaga. Swarnalatha gave her voices in Hit Songs like Thalapathi (1991), Thevar Magan (1992), Karuththamma (1994), Bombay (1995), Indian (1996), and Minsaara Kanavu (1997).

Swarnalathae was awarded National Film Award for Best Female Playback Singer in 1995 for song Porale Ponnuthayi from the film Karuththamma.

Swarnalatha father K.C.Cherukutty was a very good Harmonium player and her mother also was having great interest in Music. Swarnalatha knows to play harmonium and keyboard.
